About the Organisation
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Govt. of India. The scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year in 1969. Aimed at developing student’s personality through community service, NSS is a voluntary association of young minds in colleges, universities and +2 level working for a campus-community (esp. Villages) linkage.
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is the first university established in 1998 by Govt. of NCT of Delhi under the provisions of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University Act, 1998 read with its Amendment in 1999. The University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), India under section 12B of UGC Act.
About the Event
With an aim to end this year on a high note and welcome 2021 with renewed ardour, the NSS Unit-G, GGSIPU NSS Cell at University Campus, Dwarka, New Delhi is continuing its tradition of hosting engrossing events for the members of the student fraternity across the nation. We are delighted to share our initiative of bringing together the young minds and encourage productivity amongst them by announcing SANDARBH: National Article Writing Competition.
